Just trying to see how my back is doing. Next workout is going to be the real deal. I am out of lifting shape. I am hoping to still win the State Championship and break my own records. Saturday starts my 12 week training routine. January 20th will be here in no time.

the video for the 325 squat didn't come out as the phone fell over and didn't record. At least the 315 squat is visible.

Well crap! Looks like I need to wait another month or two before squatting heavy. I can barely get out of bed and walk. Who knew the SI joint could be so painful? My shoulder is so bad I haven't been able to bench either. I'll be back but it will take a little while.

The 22 year old I am training doing squats at my home gym. Philippe, my 22 year old powerlifter, squatting 525 for 8 sets! - YouTube He deadlifts 725 and squats 575. He has his first meet in December and then Texas State Championship in January. All I did was close grip bench 195 for 3.

Doctor gave me an injection in my SI joint Friday and said by Monday I could do squats. I did squats Tuesday and now have a complete tear of my right SI joint! Glad I wasn't almost 4 hours away at the meet. I am going to be doing some serious thinking about retirement over the next several months. This is one of the most painful things I have experienced. It hurts to piss, poop, and fart. Roll over in the bed and almost pass out. The Oxycodon almost takes away the pain. Enough that after 75 hours of no sleep I slept about 6 hours last night. The wife telling me I told you so doesn't make it any damn better!

Went 10.5 hours without pain pill. Walked a little too much yesterday but it does feel better, although sore. I'll be glad when I can start training again. I practice my squats every time I stand up. Relax, then brace and stand up.
