Probably because so few muscles are used to actually move the weight. That's why people who don't drink the milk usually stall early on the presses but keep progressing on the squat and deadlift.
Ooooh and Gary, your strength to bodyweight ratio just went up from 0.818 (135/165) to 0.838 (155/185)! Nice.
