I think Westside is best suited for geared powerlifters.
No one is going to doubt their strength, but it seems to be very specific.
You don't see a lot of people using the Westside method for other strength sports; strongman, weightlfting, highland, etc. Correct me if I'm wrong.
If they don't push their training on you I'd say at least give it a try.
