Adding lifts
Andy,
I have been following this program for some time:
Monday
Squat 3x5
Bench 3x5
Chins 3x10
Thursday
Light Squat 3x5
Press 3x5
Dead Lift 1x5
I am getting a little bored and would like to add a few lifts but keep a 2 day a week full body routine. I am 55 and I lift to maintain strength and health. I have thought about these 2 options and was wondering your thoughts. Thanks
Monday
Squat 3x5
Bench 3x5
Chins 3x10
SLDL 3x5
Abs
Thursday
Light Squat 3x5
Press 3x5
Dead Lift 1x5
DB Rows 3x10
Pressdown/Curls (Superset) 3x10
or
Monday
Squat 3x5
Bench 3x5
Chins/DB Rows 3x10 (alternate weeks)
Pressdowns 3x10
Abs
Thursday
Light Squat 3x5
Press 3x5
Dead Lift 1x5
SLDL 2-3x5
Curls 3x10
