How long to run sm40+
Hi Andy
Running sm40+ with 8/5/2 scheme since June and love it. I wanted to use the program in that way to build some muscle and improve my physic next to a busy schedule which worked out fine. Currently I had a another break because of travelling and a cold.
However weight gets Heavy with some PR's and first misses on OHP occured (last two 3x2 workouts).
Next I would like to try your powerlifting 7 week program for a strength test and then return back to sm40+ with a 5/3/1 scheme until Christmas.
What do you think? Good plan or stick to the current program ALAP (as long as possible) and eat through the sticking point or ...?

Is EVERYTHING sticking or just your Press 3x2 workouts? With the 852 program, it is not expected that you hit your set/rep goal at every workout. If you do, then you add weight next week, if not, then you keep weight the same and try to add reps from the previous week.
