So I tore my quad
I believe I have a very minor quad tear, I'm not exactly sure when it happened, but i tried training through it (stupid) and it did not get much worse but just kept coming back after a heavy squat workout. It is almost like a cramping pain and weakness at the bottom of my squat. Obviously this slowed down my reps and stopped my progress. Yesterday I began the Starr rehab protocol with the empty bar and 3 sets of 25. My question is what would you typically prescribe for a minor tear as far as how light, how slow to progress. Appreciate any advice so I can get back to getting stronger. Thanks.

I'd take it by feel. If it's a small strain, you may be able to take bigger jumps. If it's a pretty bad Grade 2, you'll need to be more conservative and careful. And then anywhere in between. If it's a grade 3, you should probably seek medical attention.
