I don't understand why you don't just do the program on page 150.
I been following the 4 day texas method and everything seems to be doing well except for my deadlift
I understand I need to add some volume to stimulate some deadlift progress
But I really don't want to stop doing Powercleans

But I am stuck with the progression on deadlifts
I am also implementing some ideas from 70s big by Justin
He said after progressing powercleans you can switch to speed deadlift
Should I try deadlifts every 2 weeks?
My deadlifts is really breaking down every week
My deadlifts even got a little weaker after i deload 10%
I even switched to 3 reps
Still breaking down
I am a 30 year old male 225 pounds
Squat 330 x 3
Deadlift 390 x 3
Bench 288.5 x 3
OHP 192.5 x 3
Powercleans 209 x 1
Powersnatch 145 x 1
The reason my squats is behind is because I kept trying everything on the 3 day split but at 30 years old it just wasn't working
So switched to 4 day split and every rep has been solid and a little below parallel
My upper body didn't really stall that much because of muscle memory
Now only my deadlift is stalling
And I take long rest breaks between sets 7+ minutes
Why are you doing 3s? Why not just do the program? As written?
