    Hey
It's been 4 months that I am having knee pain , right above the knee cap.
When i walk a bit , my knees heat up (they become hotter than the rest of my body) and if I squat down I can feel them right above parallel.
Generally they are very bad the day after I squat , but it's been almost a month without squats and I still have this problem .
Any idea what it is ? (I caused this through poor form , hadn't read the book when I started)

I had knee pain a while back. It got better after I

    1. Wore knee sleeves when I squat (I like TK bands).
    2. Got some weightlifting shoes.
    3. Kept my f*king knees out in the squat (this probably helped the most).

Not squatting didn't help me, in fact i'm sure that my squats helped un-fuck my knees.

exter, I had the exact same problem as you - word for word, I did these 3 things and now I don't have knee pain.

    Thanks guys.
The problem is that I don't live in the USA/UK (I live in morocco actually) , I am 16 and have no credit card (and no money).
There is no way I could afford weightlifting shoes and knee sleeves. Do you have some cheap and easy alternatives ?
On the other hand , I know that my knees buckle in during my heavy sets , I bring them back immediately but i guess I shouldn't let them in the first place.

Man just film yourself obssesively and maintain a knee out position+ sit BACK during the squat without much knee travel, do this with whatever possible weight you can master you tecnique and go up slowly in weight, best thing would be to squat your way through the pain, you got your whole future ahead of you, don't think of heavy weights yet, just focus on your form

    Good luck

You know what's making your knees hurt, so fix it. The sleeves and shoes are just an added bonus.
