How close were their body weights? I hate differentiating medals based on 100g of extra body fat :/
I'm at the American Open, and it's awesome. Really good battle last night in the 94s between Jon North, Ian Wilson, and Coard Wilkes. Jon snatched 158, and it looked really easy. Ian and Coard came back on the jerk with Ian hitting 189 and Coard hitting 190. They all finished with the same total, so it went by bodyweight. Coard first, Ian second, Jon third.

Coard's 190 kg:

to prevent that, don't tie
The frequency of ties would seem to indicate that this is not trivial
Ian's technique is sloppy and he's only 18 (!). Wow.
So if Jared Fleming is competing, North finishes 4th best in his weight class. Yikes.
Ian is only 17. And I would hardly call his technique "sloppy." No one gets a medal for a "pretty" lift.
Yeah math fail on that one...Jan 8, 1994. Nice future for that kid!
Cakeb just went 3 for 3 on snatch with a 151. Donny hit 162.
