I'm not sure if it does or not. Wilks works to determine the best male and female lifters in separate categories, but when you lump them together for 1 best lifter among both sexes it doesn't. I read that Swartz/Malone was made for circumstaces like that, so they could have one best lifter overall at meets.

Hmm. When I put numbers into the equation, 1405@220 as a male produces a much lower wilks than the same result as a female. Nonetheless, maybe they still arent meant to be compared but it seems unlikely.

There should be a difference for sure, but the amount of difference seems off on Wilks. Schwartz/Malone was actually created to compare across the sexes, and if you compare those results to Wilks there are some huge differences. When you compare Wilks (men) to Schwartz they are actually pretty close.

Ah. I'll make the switch then.

Jordan, I'm just going to include your most recent lifts. I am probably going to do that for everyone. Recency takes precedence. All of us have at least 2-3 weight classes we have posted gym or meet lifts in. To include all of that would be a clusterfuck, IMO.

    starting strength coach development program
Most recent, at 253: Squat 475, Bench 385, Deadlift 507. That was in June.

All time best, all at 253: squat 501.5lbs, Bench 407.9lbs, deadlift 507lbs. The first two were in April. I didn't do so well in June, except on deadlift.

They can be found at rawpowerlifting.com in the results from Joliet and Bloomington.

I'm male, 253, 42 years old (do I get points for being old?).
