I think some of these guys just make this stuff up as they go, to create a perception of value.

Chest up cue is ok, as long as it doesn't illicit an overly extended lumbar, causing destabilization in the spine? At least that's what I got out of his example near the end where he says;

If you go on to he elitefts facebook page you will find them talking a lot about the squat being all HIPS! Dan Green talking too about looking down.
The chest up cue is only used for people who overemphasize the hip drive and fall forward.
