    I consider microloading to be more of a mind fuck game. Regardless of how I feel, I "know" I should be able to do a tiny bit more than last time, like really, it's only 1/2 # (or whatever). Used this way, they can help you over a plateau.

    I made some micro plates out of balsa wood, so I can load in 2 gram increments. It's allowed me to continue my novice LP for over 6 years. They break all the time, but pretty cheap to replicate.

    Oh, I don't clean the chalk out of the barbell for nanoloading.
