    Breaking News: New World Record Squat by Eric Lilliebridge.

    415kgs/914.9lbs Raw Squat without wraps. New All-Time World record @ 140kg/308lbs. Lightest person to Squat 900+lbs Raw without wraps.

    P.S. His training cycles are all formulated using percentages of his max.

    The meet is complete.

    New All-Time World record Raw total without wraps @ 308lbs & Overall highest ever. 1,067.5kg - 2,353.4lbs!
    Squat: 415kg/914.9lbs (All-Time World record @ 308)
    Bench: 250kg/551lbs (Meet PR!)
    Deadlift: 402.5kg/887.3lbs (Meet PR!)

    You CAN incorporate rpe and %. And it works. More better if you do things other than get fat and lift barbells.

    % is very good for tracking the degrees of fatigue and other influences on training. For planning future cycles and stuff.

    Yes it does! :-) I will say though, his style of programming won't work for everyone. Basically they go heavy every other week in the squat, and have it periodized over a certain number of weeks. If you have the genetics to make that work, then you should do it. I have always been a fan of doing the least complex/lowest amount of volume needed to make progress. For average folks, they won't be able to run something like that long term. They can for a while, but when it dries up, it is time to move on.

    On a side note, SBD cheater sleeves FTW! This is why I got them too. You can be a raw purist and still cheat. :-)

    Thanks for posting the lifts. They are solid and legit. Nice squat depth and pause on the bench too.
