Glad we could help. Those squats look really good. Rep two may have been just above parallel, but, otherwise, that is how a squat should look. Nicely done.
Coaches,
Thanks again for the wonderful seminar held at Coliseum Strength & Conditioning in Hampton, VA last weekend. The overall information and technique feedback was priceless.
Would you mind taking a look at how my squat looks while trying to implement the cues I received? The main ones were:
-break hips and knees at same time
-get knees more forward
-chest down earlier and more
-get weight onto mid foot (I was rolling onto the outside of my heels so badly that my big toes were actually coming off the ground)
-hands in closer and keep wrists straighter (they were wrapping over the bar)
-aggressive hip drive out of hole
This is my 2nd squat session since the seminar and it really felt like it clicked. I can't remember my squat feeling this easy since......well, the seminar.
Here is my 3rd and final planned triple:

Thanks again for all that you guys do!

So the knees moving back is not only okay, but desirable?
The knees have to move back at some point as they extend.
I didn't realize that point is so early.
