On the off chance any Oz trainees are looking for some mega plates for their home gym - there are cast-iron 50 kg plates on sale at Iron Edge for $90 each. Makes gumtree prices look usurious. Looks like all of their stock has been substantially discounted - they have a lot of swish stuff (still too $$$ nice for me). Kinda wish I hadn't bought 4x20's secondhand for $2 a kilo on the weekend. Better for Melbournians, as the delivery cost kinda kills the savings ($83!!).

Linguistic skills on point. Also, looks like a solid deal for our friends in the southern hemisphere.

Some nice stuff there.....at a far better price than normal.

I have stopped myself splashing out.......and will go and use the stuff I've already paid for at the gym

dammit I wish I had more money. also: somewhere to set up a gym. The rubber weight plates are bloody good value too - $50 per 20kg plate is about the best I've seen new

I assume "usurious" means when a deal is so good you say to your mate "bro, Usurious?"

    20kg for $50 as well.

Mind you, even at full price these things beat ebay/gumtree prices. I really don't understand the second hand market in Victoria.
