And how he would likely have to have surgery? And how the doctors said his case was one of the worst/rarest ever? And how that made it completely unthinkable that the competition could go forward? And how absolutely nobody believed him? And does anybody now notice that instead of having to have reconstructive surgery on his grotesquely destroyed ankle, he's back to seeing another ridiculous ExSci paper and beginning yet another round of "I'm gonna try this..." when the little twerp sees another Shiny Thing?

lets see what happens . . . for science!

I mean there would be nothing to compare it to, since he's never done (or in a limited way) full squats.

Hopefully, he'll post videos and what not. . . . probably have to go out and buy some more plates.

    If he can SSB 315 . . . I'm sure he' be 1/4 Sqt'ing 495 for reps in a couple of months.

He's a surgeon; "egotistical asshole" is a redundancy.

What would you want ? what's practical? and what's available?

anything else you see in the study that's suspect?
Yes. See the Q&A. There's a lot that's suspect, and I'd hesitate to celebrate it without better studies to confirm the results.

This idea of joint-angle specific training is a zeitgeist for the ExSci community- they won't let it go- but you'd be surprised how many times it doesn't play out in the research (when the training is done with full body movements) and then casually ignored... and how many times researchers merely assume it must be true when drawing their conclusions.

Possibly an even better question is why would umair have posted the below quote in the "Air Umair" vs "The Cannon" thread on 14 Jun, a full 12 days after his above "surgical report" was printed on 2 June? Perhaps the surgeon didn't know what day it was. Perhaps on the 14th he had forgotten that he had already had the surgery two weeks ago? It was certainly a Happier Time, 2 weeks after surgery, with a walking boot making it look like surgery would be unnecessary and putting the finishing touches on Imaginary Medical School.

Took my Step 1 exam (medical licensing exam) last week and feel free as a bird!
And yes, I remember way back when I said I was gonna leave umair alone.
