    Default Back off?

    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    • starting strength seminar december 2024
    Hi All,

    I was 5 workouts into my novice progression as of last Wednesday. I had to go out of town for a wedding and then got real sick. I'm going to train tomorrow for the first time since and wondered if I should pick up where I left off of back off the load?

    See how a backoff feels for a set of 5. If you think you can make it to your previous worksets, go for it. If the backoff is rough, stay there. You might surprise yourself.
