Chin up, not pull up (it does make a difference). It never struck me as strange as the weight I can chin up has always been more than I can bench throughout my whole life, and by a lot at the start - when I was a 135 lbs teenager I could knock out sets of 10 bw chins without even training it, but no way in hell was I benching 135 for more than a single at the time
