Jerry, yes, my training is going exceptionally well right now, and I feel better overall and stronger than I have in a very long time. I know I am one of the fortunate ones, to have a great training setup at home, when so many have been denied due to the current circumstances and extreme restrictions around the country.
I am back to doing my heavy lifting just two days a week, but also added two extra workouts weekly, where I do a barbell complex for conditioning and a few various grip exercises, rotating these exercises. I finish these workouts with a farmers walk carrying two barbells that I fitted with old kettlebell handles. So far this plan has worked great, and I really enjoy the variety, as well as the results.
My next planned competition (hopefully), will be the Can-Am meet in Rochester on July 18, where I hope to re-write all the State and National records in my class - 65-69, 198 lb. class. Stay healthy and safe Jerry, and keep up on your own sensible training.
