Thanks Shug, better to blow off a workout and come back next time with a slightly lower weight than to push through and be out for a few months.

My leg still felt a little tight this morning but wanted to do something. Went to the garage and did some tri push downs and banded chins .4 sets each .Then did some grip work. I hope I will be able to sqt on Monday, taking it easy over the weekend. I bought a compression sleeve for the thigh and will wear it when I sqt next time.

Yes Berg, it does feel like a muscle issue, not a joint . It feels normal today.I did ice yesterday and wore the thigh sleeve most of the day. I'm hoping I can do my normal WO tomorrow as I had two more weeks one this program before taking a planned week long break. Im going on a cruise to Nova Scotia and will be in Bostn for the 4th of July.
If feel anything going on tommoror on my warm ups I will stop immediately. I am going to take my time warming up and do some stretches . I know some believe that is not needed but maybe at my age it can only help.

Sounds like a minor tweak, test it with a bunch of airsquats and a 20reps barbell squat, if it hurts back off a bit and do like 3x20reps on a not so painful weight. Nova scotia sounds great, for me a its a very exotic place. Have a nice time!

Jerry, I hope you heal quickly. I agree with bergstrm, the Starr rehab protocol really works. I hope you have a great cruise.

After taking it easy since last Thursday my leg felt fine. I did wear the thigh sleeve as a precaution

I am beginning to believe more time to recover may be the key to lifting more weight. I don't think that the 96 hour window between lifts applies to us elders. Maybe I will try some workout plans from another book in my library . It is geared for us wth grey hair. I really haven't made much progress in over a year., so not much to loose at this point.

I'm pretty sure I've told you that.
