Hey Jerry,
As a follow-up to your question on Instagram.
My time between sets varies based on weight and reps. It's not a hard and fast rule. My top sets on Squats require more rest due to the rep scheme, not due to the weight. My Bench and Deads require less rest, as the weight is relatively light, and the reps are lower.
Get me working at 90% or higher and regardless of rep scheme, I'm taking lots of time.
Better to take more time for rest, than miss reps due to fatigue. At least for this old fart.

Thanks Browndog.I used to train sort of HIT style ala Dr Ken with son and rushed through the WO's. The thought was dont worry how previous set affects the next set or.exercise.Just do what you could. Works.in some.ways.I am going to focus on trying to gain some strength this period 225/5 set is my goal. This period used to be a warm up before I got.old.

Im not sure if I will do continue with this program.
It seems to take a little to much time and I'm not sure if it recovered from the lite day sqts.done on Thursday. I think I will continue working with the same weights but change up the days using a program for older lifers in Grey Hair and Black Iron.

Great discussion of programming options. You're obviously a dedicated trainee so you'll find what works for you no doubt.
