Well at least it's a place to get your work outs done. Good luck with the program .

Thanks Jerry, I had a fair workout today even though my low back has been pretty bad the last couple days.

Hey all, I'm back from the wastelands, felt I had to take some time away to sort things out and get my head together. I never stopped my training, but I did fool around with some lighter training for a few weeks. That turned out disappointing, and now I'm having to fight my way back to where I was a year ago. I took ten days to visit relatives at their camp in Georgia, and have been back to my normal training for the last couple weeks now. OHP and BP are progressing slowly (as usual), but SQ and DL are progressing smoothly. I'm planning to alternate halting DL with Romanian DL weekly for four weeks, then do regular DL every fifth week.

Today's workout was a killer due to the high humidity here in CNY right now!

I'm thinking about the possibility of doing another meet next Spring, and also taking another trip in the next couple months, maybe to visit my brother in Idaho. Good lifting everyone!

Sometimes life gets in the way of our training and making progress. Glad to hear you're still at it and thinking of another meet.
Idaho is one of a couple states I've not visited. Anyway, good to get an update from you.

Thanks, I'm hoping to keep my lifts moving back up for a good bit yet, and I do have some goals in mind, for this year and next. I'll be talking to my brother later today, and expect to head out to Idaho the first two weeks in September, with a stop in Ohio to visit my girl's brother and his wife. Though my girl and I never married, after she passed, they told me they consider me a brother-in-law and I'm welcome in their home anytime. It meant a lot to me!

I had a pretty good workout today, and with my weights moving back up, my bodyweight is also creeping back up. I don't have any plans to let it go over 200 lbs though, I'll remain a 198 lber.

Another decent workout today, though I pushed the pace a little and had to take a breather before finishing my last exercise. Looking forward to getting out west for a couple weeks before Winter sets in all too soon.

I'm feelin' quite beat-up after today's workout...low back is still tender, and the ribs I injured six years ago have been bothering me more lately. Despite this, weights are still creeping up (along with bodyweight), so I'll try to hang in. Have a massage scheduled in a couple hours, hopefully it will help!
