Had all of last week off going to the gym, felt good to get back into it! Busy weekend ahead so looking to get in on Friday evening for Bench/Squat.

Bench 62.5kg x 5,5,5
Assisted Chins (Light Band) x 5, 3, 3, 3, 3
Couldn't get on a squat rack before leaving for overtime at work.
Tue 30th May
Press 52.5kg x 5,5,3.
Deadlift 110kg x 3, 90kg x5. Shouldn't have jumped up by 5kg, going to reset.
Assisted Chins (Light Band) x 5, 3, 3, 3, 3
Tonight will be Bench and I'm going to give Front Squats a try, if I enjoy them then I'll stick with them for a while. I know it'll give me slower progress but I believe enjoying my time in the gym is more important than the most optimal method. Will be following some of Andy Baker's programming advice next time I stall on my Press/Bench doing a heavy set of 3 followed by some back off sets of 5. Think more volume is needed on them to progress on 2x training a week.

I'm going to hold my hands up and say I don't enjoy front squats any more than back squats!

Front squat worked up to 50kg but felt awkward.
Squat 70kg x 5,5,5
Row 50kg x 10,10,10
Bench 65kg x 5,5,5
