Thanks Fred, but unfortunately the sciatic issues are still wreaking havoc from my lower back down into my right foot.
The foot is still swollen and I have very little flexibility in my ankle and calf. I'm still doing rehab exercises on my own
and a little walking, but that is about it. At my age, I highly doubt if I'll be coming back from this herniated disk injury.
Right now, I'm just hoping to maybe be able to train with my Kettlebells again eventually, but those involve the lower
back quite a bit, so I don't know. I had a good run and trained the way I wanted to for a long time. My best lifts were...

405 Back Squat (Rehbands and a Belt)
    310 Bench (Raw)
    515 Deadlift (Belt, No Straps)
    175 Standing Press (Belt)

    Stay Strong, Stay Safe.

Hang in there Shug and don't give up hope. I suffered through a herniated disc many years ago, and I still came back to do a lot of good lifting as I got older. Two months ago I thought my heavier lifting was done, but I seem to be getting back into the groove after all the PT work, and the new chiropractor... Happy Easter and Stay Strong!

Thanks Double F, I'm going to be careful and try to do what I can. Something is always better than nothing.
I'm glad your training is going well, keep it up!
    Stay Strong!!

    Meshuggah,

I'm finally becoming aware of your physical problems. I will pray that God gives you the grace to overcome these and the blessings of Spirit to rejoice in life no matter what happens. Your story is an inspiration.

Thanks Brother, I appreciate your prayers. The 480 Deadlift that contributed to this injury could be my last hurrah Deadlifting
any decent weight. I now regret not doing 500, because the strength was there and the injury wouldn't have been any worse
and I would have been back in the 500 Pound Deadlift Club at age 62.
I'm still pulling for you to reach your Deadlift Goals.
    Stay Strong!!

It's great to see you back! I was worried that something had happened to you.
I herniated my L5 S1 disk back in January and I'm working on a comeback.

Oh, man, that sucks. Did it happen in the weight room or in everyday life?

We've always gotta find a way to pound the iron. Nice job!
