I had PF for 2.5 years after beginning at a new gym, thought it was a combination of old age/arthritis etc so I just dealt with it.
Moved to a new gym this past November, where I now lift on platforms rather than mats over concrete. I realized a month or so ago the PF is gone (I lift way lighter weights than you do). Just a thought!

Yeah its pretty hard to predict how its going to go. I've had it at least twice before and the last time I'm not even positive how I got it. Possibly from stepping wrong on a curb on the street. The time before that was definitely overuse from running(2010). And this past time was excessive walking. Nothing really helped the other times. Just have to wait until it runs its course. Which I hope is less than 2.5 years!

I had it in my 40s from overuse (high impact 'step aerobics'. Yes. I'm THAT old.) Best wishes for speedy recovery!

Not the best day. 8lb total BW loss since Jan 1, not great sleep, workout pushed back an hour. Kinda just didn't have any spunk today due to these factors

Officially down 10lb of BW and 2 holes on the belt. Feeling lean and mean. But also not very strong yet. Still no quad issues so will look go keep things headed in the right direction

Motivation is definitely lacking with all that's going on. Just did the bare minimum today
