that's the key, slow and steady, we don't have the luxury of easy recovering when we over do it and I say this as a Geezer Jr.

It is hard with the squats to not jump weights. I have talked myself out of this more than once but once starting with the work sets I change my mind.

Geezer Jr? You're not a certified old fart yet?

    11-18-20 Wednesday

Bench 185-5-5* Single and two set of 5 rep pr

Still having ear problems and the past two nights only about 6 hours sleep each but still had a decent day. I had four full days between bench workout's and even with not great sleep and ear issues felt stronger than the previous two workouts. I think I might be on to something here like take more days between workouts for the bench. Less is more?

Sometimes we need to realize that as we get older it takes more time for the body to recuperate from lifting, same thing goes for sex. At least it does in my case.

Well crap! The ear infection fiasco continues lol. After a postponed workout Friday, Sat and now Sunday I feel better today but after researching about the drug the doc prescribed (CIPRO) I found out that it causes tendon problems. I do not remember having any problems when taking this before but now that I am lifting it concerns me more. It also made me fell like pure shit yesterday and now both shoulders are aching in the joints upon arising both Saturday and Sunday. I stopped taking this and will get the doc to prescribe something other than a fluoroquinolone which is the family of drugs of which Cipro belongs to. There are several post on this site about it. I think it's better to err on the side of safety and get another drug that does not have such a track record.

    Anyone have experience with this?
