Nice work Fred. You seem like my best friend Nat. He doesn't work out but is always working. He goes claming a few days a week. Then building dock, cutting trees, grass and in between taking care of 5 cars.

It would be great to have most projects done. I have way too many.

Thanks Lars. 180 lbs. is only 81.5 kg. I have not lifted since but hopefully today.

92f is 34c and we have a lot of humidity now. The last two days have been even hotter. Over the last week (Saturday to Saturday) I removed a storage shed I built on to the rear of my garage. I stripped shingles and roof plywood. Removed lap siding and plywood. Disassembled the roof joist and wall studs. Removed floor and support decking all the while saving everything possible to rebuild in another spot later. Mainly just the shingles, roof deck and some trim (soffit) were trashed. I mainly used framing screws so it was fairly simple to take apart.

I read where you are keeping your weights up. That's great. You are doing a shorter program now?

    6-17-2024 Monday

    weight 200

    Bench
    040-8
    090-4
    120-4
    160-2
    180-5

    Block pulls
    135-4
    205-3
    255-3
    305-3

This went well for the time elapsed since last working each of these lifts and the project workload lately. One left in the tank on the bench. The block pulls on the other hand were a bit more challenging at 305 but still good.

I guess I am down to lifting one day a week until I get caught up on some work. These were the first squats in 3 weeks. I am doing no backup sets trying to conserve energy. I have still been outside working every day except yesterday which was our 51st wedding anniversary. Overall...life is good but this heat is a bummer at times.

Happy Anniversary! It's been extra hot hear the past week too.
I know when you do an abbreviated program you can feel like it's not enough, but it seems that it's a good plan when your older and have other labor activities to do.

    Thanks Jerry!

With the lifting I am trying to not loose too much strength. The extra work out in the heat is rough so I will do the best I can for the time being.

The right index finger does not like any pulling lifts. Arthritis? Repetitive work on the fence caused this flare up.
