Did workout at about 5 PM. I'm not used to this time - low energy today. But I checked the box...

12/21/23 - Solstice lifting day
Press w/belt - work up to 190 x 1, 165 x 3 x 4
SSB w/belt - 275 x 10 x 4
Deadlift w/belt - 225 x 5, 275 x 5, 315 x 5, 345 x 5, 365 x 5
Deadlifted for the first time in months. No pain during my lifting session in my injured hip, but some in my other hip.
I think I'm back in the game!

12/26/23 - Post Christmas apocalyptic lifting
SSB squat w/belt - 315 x 6 x 4
Press w/belt - 175 x 5 x 3, 135 x 8x 3
Standing LTE w/curl bar - 80 x 12, 11, 11
HIIT - 3 intervals plus warmup/cooldown. 12 minute total
Actually trying to do press 2.0. I'm probably doing it wrong, but still got enough of a boost to get my target 3 sets of 5 at 175. I think the generous amount of pumpkin pie consumed yesterday is anabolic. It clearly should be banned as a performance enhancing substance by all sporting federations.

Deadlifts feeling ok - left hip zero pain. Right hip, just a bit. Cancelled the ortho appointment I'd made last month for my hip.

Been hitting it hard during the time off. Going to do a light day of stuff tomorrow.

Needed a quick, easy workout. This was perfect.

DL w/belt - bailed due to right hip pain.
Not a bad workout. Left hip is 100% now. But the right hip is up to its old tricks. May try pulling tomorrow.

I've been really focusing on curls and tricep XT lately. I think they're paying off with some upper arm growth. Priorities!
