    Sunday
    20/10-24
Took an hour walk in nearby park. Got me tired legs!
Thinking about a young friends way of thinking around training, to let himself off the hook. He said to me ”I think training is so boring so I can’t stand it”.
I think for myself, yes it is boring, but so is brushing your teeth. You just f…ing do it, feel good having it done and then get on with your life.
But I didn’t say out loud, I just looked at him, I think he felt my thoughts.

Yesterday was right hip ugly pain. Today better, but it got worse during squat warmup.
Hate being old. Could hardly walk yesterday.

Did that long walk have anything to do with this? My right knee is starting to hurt doing nothing so I think some kind of activity is better than nothing. Within moderation that is.

I beginning to add some of the movements Shugg suggested to me from Original Strengh that can be found on YouTube. I guess at my age it's just as important to be able to move quick up from the as it is to lift a heavy weight.

Hard to say, could be the walking, could also be a recovery thing from lifting. Feeling better today after a week of rest. Did some bowling tonight and it felt ok. I plan to begin lifting during the weekend. Im all for activity, like you, motion is lotion.

Im all for strength, but I have to do some cardio, problem seem to be recovery. But it’s really only me taking a guess.

I'm gonna guess here too but you might have to spread your lift days out more to give more recovery between lift days. I have had to do similarly once things get to the upper levels of my ability. Also I have used the one lift a day routine before and it worked great. Just some thoughts that might help. Also are you getting enough to eat for recovery? Good luck with it.

    Thanks Fred
All suggestions are welcome. I’m not sure how to treat this problem. I think time will tell the source of the problem. So I just try to find a level of training that fits for me. And see what happens, I hope I don’t have to go for x-rays. That would be the last resort.
