Old but trying hard
57 years old, 5'8", 148lbs.
Started this journey 6 weeks ago at a weight of 138.
Have lifted consistently for 2 1/2 years but not getting as much out of it as I would like. It appears like I was doing a lot of "junk volume".
Started at: 138
Bench: 120
OHP: 80
Squat: 95
Deadlift: 185
This morning's workout:
Bench: 142 3x5
Squat: 220 3x5
Deadlift: 265 1x5
weight: 148

You're not that old. The important thing is to keep going and progressing, and you've progressed well in 6 weeks!
