I saw a guy in the rack next to me unrack a bar loaded to 55lbs and press it overhead with much difficulty. Just as I was taking note that there was another person pressing in my gym (this is exceptionally rare), he lowered the bar behind his head and proceeded to perform 5 reps of the most awkward 1/3 squats I've ever seen. He leaned forward very slightly while allowing his knees to cave in. That is the entire description of the movement. It was as if the entire range of motion was the result of the knee cave. The set of 5 seemed very difficult. He then pressed the bar back overhead with even more difficulty and racked it. I was expecting him to return to do another set but he never did.
