I was asked why I haven't brought lifting straps for deadlifting, I said cos I don't need them, never used them so my grip's gotten better. He said I should use them no questions, then showed me his 'deadlift' max of 2/3rds of what mine is. Yes, he used straps for every warm up as well.
Sigh.
