Maybe it was a gardener, training to become better at gardening.

Gardening can be hard work, you know.

That's too event specific... and if you are too specific in your training, you'll never be elite.

If you think that's bad. This (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVQ0ydxbPRA) is the entire free weight section of the gym I shall be returning too shortly.

Like Chick Tracts, except they're like Rip Tracks? This is possibly the best idea ever.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. If Rip made them I would see some poor kid quarter squatting and hand one to him telling him there is salvation.

Looks like a typical yuppie fitness club...maybe ours has more benches and stuff, but we lack plates to accomodate everyone. 3 of us on a heavy day can wipe out the 45's.
The guy doing the deads had great form, despite the light weight and too much time in the hole. Oh, was that YOU?

Guys, that tiny ass space you see in the video is the entire free weight area. That's it. Racks are inches away from each other, so you try to load the bar while the guy next to you is doing a set, you're probably going to get rammed in the face and/or throat. Everything is so damn cramped that you can easily bump into someone and jar the bar loose on a very heavy bench attempt, ending their life and your gym membership. The stories I could tell....

I'm headed back to the gym tonight.

I'm pretty excited. I told my wife I might be a little late getting home so that I could spend a little extra time watching for shennanigans.
