I know this might not be the right place, but I think this is in the spirit of the thread... I'm looking for used weights on CraigsList and just had to share this...

HAULIN HOOKS WEIGHT LIFTING GEAR - $20 (DOWNTOWN)

Serious weightlifters know they have to continually lift more to grow in strength and size. Haulin' Hooks are a great product to isolate your hands from the obvious stresses involved with body building exercises.

The heavy-duty metal hooks combined with a thick, padded neoprene wrist strap allow you to hold onto much heavier weights and get more reps. Haulin' Hooks are an excellent choice for anybody who is serious about building muscle mass. Customize your fit with the adjustable hook positioning loops.

If you're serious about maximizing your workout results, isn't it time to get focused on lifting and not gripping?

"Hardcore": The plushest and strongest. Ideal for hardcore boybuilders and weightlifters. 800 lbs. load rated.

But what would a serious, hardcore weightlifter do once his deadlift got above 800 lb? I suppose the hooks will also probably have to match the gloves and the purse.

When I own my own gym, I think I will have the preacher curl bench lie beyond a sort of archway of a chinup bar. There'll be a sign up:

"Toll to pass through this gate: 5 chinups."

This should help keep the dickheads out of the gym.

Are you aware that the craigslist advert reads 'ideal for hardcore boybuilders'?

I assume it is intentional, given the product. Wouldn't want callous formation to get in the way of a good handy.

"weightlifter do once his deadlift got above 800 lb"

    Weightlifters typically don't deadlift.

The problem is you are thinking 'horizontal', when you really should be thinking 'vertical'

I want to see vertical squatz.
