Sure, you can do that till one fails. They aren't the same quality of steel as any Olympic bar, with the exception of the Ivanko standard bar. That isn't an opinion, it's simple steel specs.

Or finish a damn chin-up. At least the squats occurred, even if they were ugly. Claiming that he did a +75 lbs chin-up is just straight up lying.

Didn't even watch the chin vid.

I'm mostly concerned about the kid's inevitable disc herniation.

Builds character. As does squatting exercise bars & plates off the dining room furniture, I suppose. Strength and Physical capability are better built with proper equipment, but I'm a power rack (or at least squat stands) and "olympic" barbell snob, I guess.

I'm a "commercial or bust" snob, so there's that. But G1981C takes the cake for equipment snobbery. Where has our favorite baby dinosaur egg eating troll been lately?

I must admit, when I was researching weightlifting bars, I reached out to G for input on his Eleiko Sport Training Bar. He was really helpful and kind (invited me over to try the bar out). I felt bad for past shit I'd given him.

He has to know at some level that he is a bit off his rocker. You can be looney and kind, they aren't mutually exclusive. He does have good taste in equipment though, no doubt.
