I bought a micro gainz deadlift jack awhile back. It makes getting that first 45 on there a lot easier.
I've had this one for about 3 years: Dead Wedge The Deadlift Jack Alternative. It's inexpensive and gets the job done.
My gym has a couple pairs, no name on them, work fine. They're pretty simple in design, so I don't think it matters which brand.
And you can always use a 2.5lb plate on the floor.
