Question Bumper Plates - Power Clean / Power Snatch

As I progress through my training, I'm not really sure what kind of bumper plates to purchase for the Power Clean / Power Snatch. I'm currently working out on bare concrete with an unfortunate bar. Should I push pause on the bumper plates until I get a better bar (bar is from a big box store set I picked up in December 2019)? There are some Rogue Mil Spec Echo Bumper Plates that look reasonably priced in the current market.

Appreciate any help/insight you can provide.

Depends on your budget. If you can only afford one thing, get the bar. The SS bar is really nice.

Personally I would think about getting a decent matt first
