    Hello everyone,

After hitting the ceiling a few times and breaking a floor plank in my basement, it's definitely time for me to move to the garage.

Please feast your eyes upon my state of the art facility:

As this is an asphalt garage floor, it is not perfectly level. Left to right it is pretty level (pic 1), front to back it dips slightly towards the back (pic 2). No wobble. Does this seem "level enough", or do I need to shim it? I have used asphalt shingling as shimming material for similar applications before (though not for lifting platforms), and I'm wondering if I need to bother or if I'm good as is. Your input is much appreciated!

Cheers from Canada (I'm fixing to be lifting in a very cold environment).

Does your loaded bar roll on the floor?

Another Canadian lifter with a detached garage home gym. It only sucks for a couple sets. I ran a 220 extension cord from the dryer plug and got an industrial space heater. Helps a lot.

Oh and my platform wasn’t level so I put some shims underneath.
