I have a line on a used R3. Guy is asking $550 but I'm thinking of offering $400. I would like to get coach's design eventually but if this dude will let it go for $400 I think I have to jump. Any concerns buying used racks?

Current price for that rack new looks to be $800, assuming no add-ons, so $550 is already a good deal, especially if you're cutting out the need for shipping.

If you can inspect it before buying, I'd think any cause for concern would be readily apparent. If the parts are all present, it's solid, and the pin safeties aren't bent, I can't imagine what else to worry about.
