Default Undecided about choosing between models of shoes

I want to buy some weight training shoes. I have never used any. I live in Europe and the range of shoes for this sport is limited compared to the US when it comes to buying.

I have the Adidas Powerlift 5 in my sights at €79 and with free shipping on a French website. On the other hand, if I wanted to buy some Rogue Do-Win or NOBULL, apart from being more expensive, I have to do it on American websites and I also have to pay shipping costs.

    My dilemma is the following:
    - Buy the Adidas Powerlift at a good price (€79). Free shipping.
    - Buy the NOBULL Lifters for €135 (plus shipping costs), with the advantage that in this model the sole can be replaced by a shoemaker once worn.

    * For practical purposes you can equate the euro and the dollar with the same value although this is not the case.

What decision would you make in my place?

I bought the Adidas shoes for my son's birthday. They are a good quality, nothing to complain.
With this huge price difference there would need to be a damn good reason why the Nobull should be that much better. (Our local shoemaker can repair any shoe that isn't cheap crap to begin with.)

How wide are your feet, Hugo? I know Adidas in general always used to run on the narrow side, though I don't know if that's still the case, or how their lifting shoes are.

I have wide feet, and I've used Do-Wins and been happy with them, though I don't have your supply chain challenges.

I have zero experience with NoBull. For Adidas, I have sneakers that run a little narrow but have never tried the Adidas lifting shoes. If you have wide feet, that would be one reason to consider Do-Win.

Yes, I tend to have a bit of a wide foot. I've been asking Adidas' help desk and they recommend buying half a size larger than I normally wear. The same is suggested by people who have bought the Adidas Powerlift and write their impressions on forums.

I just took a look at the Do-Win. They only sell them on the Rogue website in the USA, not on any European country's website. The Classics cost $97.50 (without taxes) for the American public, but if I want to buy them from outside the country I have to pay more than $400 with taxes and shipping costs. It's a huge disproportion!

The NOBULLs are out of stock in my size. The shoe costs €135. With shipping costs it's €152. For Americans, shipping is free.

It seems that I am condemned to buy the Adidas Powerlift 5, both because of the price and the proximity of the online store. In addition to the fact that there is the right size for me.

Get an American to buy the DoWins for you and ship them to you.

Regarding Do-Wins, there's a UK seller for them: 213KG.COM - Home. I live in the UK, so it was easy enough to buy there and the owner is very helpful with finding the right fit. You may want to contact him first about shipping and taxes, though.

Actually, I was just looking around, and there's this shop as well for Do-Wins and others: Weightlifting Shoes WORKOUT - black/white - WORKOUT.EU
