    VD #17
    Squat - eb 3x5, 100lbs x5, 140lbs x4, 190lbs x3, 230lbs x2, 260lbs x1
    280lbs 5x5

    Bench - eb 2x10, 100lbs x5, 140lbs x3, 150lbs x2, 160lbs x1
    170lbs 5x5

    Deadlift -
    140lbs 2x5, 230lbs x3, 330lbs x1, 370lbs x1
    390lbs X

Re-did VD #16 to see if a little more rest would allow for a better pull - NOPE! Good squats, great bench, couldn't break the bar off the ground on the Deadlift. I'm going to attribute this miss to the fact I played 18 holes golf yesterday afternoon and carried my bag (first time in a long time) - my lower back was fried by the end of the round. I think I'm going to move the Deads to RD and see how that goes. If that doesn't help, a re-set will be the order of the day.

    RD #17
    Deadlift - 135lbs 3x5, 225lbs x3, 315lbs x2, 365lbs x1
    390lbs x5

    Squat - 95lbs x5, 135lbs x3, 185lbs x2, 225lbs x1
    235lbs 2x5

    Press - eb 1x10, 75lbs x5, 95lbs x3, 105lbs x2, 115lbs x1
    125lbs 3x5

Allrighty then, moving the Deads to the RD worked (for now). Broke the bar from the ground without a whole lot of trouble as well. Squats were no issue (as it's Recovery Day, they shouldn't be). The Press was OK, the last set was a little grindy. Dropped the Chins and Dips, will be moving them to VD.

    Squat - eb 3x5, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x3, 185lbs x2, 225lbs x1, 275lbs x1
    310lbs x5

    Bench - eb 2x10, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x3, 155lbs x2, 175lbs x1
    187.5lbs x5

    PC - 95lbs 2x3, 115lbs x3, 135lbs x1
    125lbs 5x3

I was expecting issues today and I was pleasantly surprised that I got the Squat and Bench. I was feeling a little slow and, well frankly - old. I'm feeling better now.

    I did have to re-set the PC's.

    Squat - eb 3x5, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x4, 185lb x3, 225lbs x2, 265lbs x1
    285lbs 5x5

    125lbs x4, x5, x5, x5, x5

    Chins - 1 1/2's +10lbs 5x5

Screwy schedule left me with no options but to do everything this morning - quite the experience. Squats were very hard. I took 8-9 minutes between sets. Last set was the best, but I'm not happy with what went on with the other four sets. Might be due for a re-set. Then again, the poor form might be a factor of "morning weakness". We'll see with the next iteration of VD.

Press started off poorly. I was still underrecovered from the Squats on that first set. Took a bit more time between sets, grew a pair and ground out the second set. The final three sets were excellent. Looking forward to getting past ID @ 132.5lbs. This work should do it.

Chins were OK. Again, I'm moving Deads to RD.

Missed the Deads. The rest is a typical recovery day.

Hmmm, didn't just miss the Squat @315, I was beat before I got under the bar. It's been a long time since I was intimidated, but today was one of those days. Very disappointed in myself. Did a set of 5 at 285 just for the work.

On the bright side I did get the Press (finally). There was at least one more rep to be had as well.

Cleans were OK. I'm working my way back up with these puppies.

    Squat - eb 3x5, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x4, 185lbs x3, 225lbs x2, 246lbs x1
    265lbs 5x5

    Bench - eb 2x10, 95lbs x5, 135lbs x3, 155lbs x2, 165lbs x1
    172.5lbs 5x5

    Deadlift - 125lbs 3x5, 225lbs x3, 315lbs x1
    365lbs x4

Decided to re-set the Squat and Deadlift, and since I'm re-setting the big lifts I thought I'd transition into Jordan's TM tweak #2 as well. Today's session was a morning session - ees no bueno! I'm an afternoon guy.
Anyway, the Squats were still hard, the Bench was solid and the Deadlift drifted away from me killing the fifth rep.

Excellent day. Squat was no issue. Bench had a moment on the 4th rep, but got the 5th without too much of a struggle.
Cleans were strong and well racked. It's nice too feel "good" again. It's been a few sessions in a row where I've felt beat down.
