Browndog, you do need to get to bed before 3:00 am. Is this going to be regular?

Sonuvagun, Browndog! It IS a good thing you are on the right side of the grass. That is a huge volume of work you do!

A great dead for sure and that squat is coming right along, not to mention your bench too.

    Good work!

    Oldman-

With my oldest home for the holiday, the house tends to get a little rowdy..and of course I have to be right in the thick of it...for safety's sake don'tcha know.

    Oldster-
Thanks for stopping by. I've cut my volume down a lot since July. I was running 5 sets of 10 @ 70% for the Assistance Work and it was wearing me down. Three sets declining is working out much better.
On the whole, I'm pretty happy with my progress. Though I am switching things up come the New Year when it comes to programming.

Merry Fucking Christmas is right. Are you doing 25 reps on the LTEs? Are you triceps shot?

    Oldman-

The high rep/low weight routine isn't that hard on the tri's.

Get me into the 70lbs range for reps and then things get interesting.

My max is 105lbs for 5 on the LTE.

Is this in a commercial gym? If so, aren't you required to put your own weights away?

Thats the nice thing about our little gym, if I were to find weights not put away, I'll be able to narrow it down to the other guy!

But even though we've always threatened to leave something out, in 30 years we've never been able to bring ourselves to do it...

    Oldster-

I train at a "racquet club".

The footprint of an old Squash court houses the "weights area".

For the most part everyone is good about putting the equipment back where it belongs. It's the college kids who, having lived for the last few months in their own pigsties, bring their slovenly habits to our little slice of heaven.

    Havin' fun in the Gym

Won't start the new program until the New Year, so I'm just havin' fun.

    Press:
    eb x10, 70lbs x2, 95lbs x2, 105lbs x2, 115lbs x2, 125lbs x2, 135lbs x2
    95lbs x12, 65lbs x18

    Bench:
    eb x10, 95lbs x5, 115lbs x3, 135lbs x2, 145lbs x2, 155lbs x2, 165lbs x2, 175lbs x2, 185lbs x2, 195lbs x2, 200lbs x1
    125lbs x15, 95lbs x20

    Rows:
    135lbs x2, 145lbs x2, 155lbs x2, 165lbs x2, 175lbs x2, 185lbs x2, 195lbs x2, 200lbs x1
    135lbs x15, 115lbs x15

    Curls:
    20lbs x35, 25lbs x16, 30lbs x8

    Dips:
    bw x12, 80% bw x12, 60% bw x12

Every lift done on, or about the minute...makes things really interesting, especially the AMRAPs.
