    Default Volume Day 2/25/13

    Squats 485x5, 500x5, 515x5
It was time for a tonnage increase, so I'd thought I'd try doing ramping sets rather than sets across with 505. I felt a lot more explosive on all of the sets than I normally do with sets across, so I may have to do this more often.
    Bench 345 3x5
    RDL 295 3x10
Chins 3x5 with 25lbs then sets of five until failure.

    Default Recovery Day 2/27/13

    Squat 395x5 405x5
    Press 230 3x5
    Back extensions 5x10 bodyweight
    curls 5x10 115

I'm not sure if the back extensions are actually doing anything other than giving me something to do in between curls. I might do something else or just not do anything in the future. Eventually I will be adding an assistance day, but not in the near future.

    Default Intensity Day 3/1/13

    Squat 595x3
    Bench 5 singles 400, 405, 410, 400, 400
    Deadlift 585x1, 600 fail

I was originally going to do some powercleans after deadlifts, but after a shitty deadlift session I figured I had had enough pulling for the day.
Deadlifts are officially stalled and it feels like the rest of my lifts are starting to slow down. My plan is to deload and start doing triples with the deadlifts and bench press. Switching things up always seems to work. It might also be time for some dynamic effort work. I have a week to think about it so we'll see.

    Default Volume Day 3/4/13

    Squat 510 3x5
    Press 245 3x5
    RDL 3x5 375
    Clean High Pulls 345 1x5
    Snatch High Pulls 285 1x5

I decided to push my progression a little and add 5lbs to the squats. I figured I could handle it and I was right. Probably will keep presses the same for awhile as I've been adding to them every time for the last several sessions, and its starting to feel a bit to hard. I've also decided to go back to an older version of my program that I've had a lot of success with.

    Default Recovery Day 3/6/13

    Squat 405 2x5
    Bench 275 3x5
    Back extensions 5x10 body weight
    pull ups 5 sets to failure 8, 6, 6, 5, 5

I stopped doing the curls because they were hurting something in my forearm and they don't matter anyway.

I'm very impressed with your strength and that you are still hammering Texas Method. I just started TM based programming at waaaaaay lighter weights so you're making me look silly. Nice work man.

I think starting with lighter weights is the idea so I don't think you need to feel silly.

    Default Intensity Day 3/8/13

Squat 600x3 I was very pleased with this
Press 275x2 I wanted to get a triple but I failed on the last rep
    Deadlift 570x3
    Rows 365 3x5
Power cleans 225x3 245x3 245x3 255x3 265x3 I felt more confident on the power cleans than I did a few weeks ago, but I still can't rack it very well. Sometimes my hands would slip out and would have to catch it with my arms and then reverse zercher it to the ground, which is a special treat.
