    Squats: 270x5, 310x5, 350x5
    * I'm still on a 531 template for squats, except I'm doing some type of squat every workout.

    Bench: 5 singles at 225, 235x1 PBR
    * I finally benched more than my weight. It only took 42 years.

    Accessory Work: High Pulls and Weighted Chins (+10# singles)

    Thanks Bryan, I see from the lifter rankings you're in the 1100 camp. I want to get my total over 1000 by the end of the year. That should be reachable.

    Press: 145x5x5

    Paused Squat: 225x5, 270x5, 290x5
    * Since I don't think I need volume squats, I'm taking some tips from Andy Baker's article on the Heavy/Light/Medium method and mixing up the squat routine.


    Accessory Work:

    Bench: 135x10, 145x10, 155x10
    * Adding overall volume to the week. These were also flat backed.

    Deficit Deadlift: 325x6
    * I really think the combination of deficits and dumbbell rows helped by deadlift so I'm alternating weeks and doing heavy deadlifts every other week.

    Gator Rows: 117x15

    Music: Helloween Radio on Pandora: stuff in the Power Metal and Symphonic Metal range

    starting strength coach development program

    Squats: 225x5, 225x5, 225x5
    * I tried High Bar today. That's not a very comfortable bar position, but I like mixing up the squat days idea. Some day I may try doing some heavy High Bar work, but for now it works good on a light day.


    Accessory Work:

    Press: 115x5, 115x5, 115x5

    Chins: About 24, mostly sets of 4.

    Rows: Warmups

    * Today was cut short because of wife / baby stuff.


    Packers vs Bears tonight!
