My youngest grandson gave me a blessing. I hug, kiss, and pray a short prayer for each of our grandchildren. As I leaned forward to do these things he said "I've been waiting all year for this." My eyes were suddenly wet. I've got to get with these little guys more. We send a note about once per month. They promised to start doing the same for us in return. It's good to be a grandpa.

    TRUTH!!!

Put the 20 month old grand daughter to bed tonight. I am far luckier than I deserve.
When I came over she now said "Gampy Gampy".

HLM. Another Light Day. I guess they are necessary like Cod Liver Oil, or the occasional vinegar enema.

    Squat: 70 x 5 (P); 120 x 3; 160 x 1; 162 x 5 x 2
    Bench: 45 x 5; 95 x 3; 135 x 1; 155 x 1; 162 x 1; 118 x 8 x 2
    Prowler: 135 x 4 x 3

HLM Medium day with heavy Dead

    Dead: 135 x 3; 225 x 2; 315 x 1; 340 x 0; 275 x 2
    Press: 45 x 5; 65 x 3; 85 x 1; 90 x 3; 79 x 8 x 2
    Squat: 70 x 5 (P); 130 x 3; 160 x 1; 182 x 3 x 2

My Deads are really lagging. But then I've missed several lifts during Nov., Dec., and part of January because of illness.

I wish. My wife suffers from daily migraines. When other problems are added as they were today it sometimes shows up in form errors. The more I think of the steps necessary to correct the problem the worse it gets. Anyway, that's my excuse. I find I want to spend more time with my wife since we may not have all that much more time.

Her greatest gift to me is her smile when she greets me. I don't mean to sound morbid and we still do many things together and she gets into the gym about 1/2 the time. Moreover, I'm thankful for the nearly 57 years shared but sometimes it's not easy to stay focused.
