    A funny thing happened in the gym on Monday. They let me have Alexa play a song with my heaviest lift. I usually choose a classical piece like Bach's Tacata and Fugue in D minor. Sometimes I pick the Hallelujah Chorus. But then I might choose "We are the Champions". In other words, I rarely pick something that features grunting and growling. So, they often tease me about my choices. My wife and I clean the gym twice a week. She often picks Tina Turner's "The Best". So, did for this some started to tease me but I said, this is my wife's favorite song and she sings in to me. They stopped the teasing and started cheering. The weight went right up.

    Squat: 70 x 5(P); 130 x 3; 160 x 1; 175 x 5 x 2 A new hitch has developed in my left knee. I will probably be seeing the Sports Doc soon.

    Prowler: 250 x 4 x 3. 250 + 75 (weight of prowler) = 325 New PR. This is fun.

    PRs are fun in whatever way they are attained. I was going to move up 5 pounds but Sully convinced me to jump 25 pounds. The left knee always goes first. For now, it doesn't hurt but in a few weeks, we should see what happens.
