Valsalva, Euphoria, and Headaches
Sometimes while pressing and perhaps incompetently performing the Valsalva maneuver, I feel euphoria (seemingly from lack of bloodflow to the brain) then a short painful headache (possibly from increased blood flow when going back to breathing normally). I haven't verified all the claims about the mechanism of action on this webpage Choking game - Wikipedia which relates to these effects, but I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this, and what actionable change can be taken to deal with the headaches, at least.

An incorrect valsalva can do this. Hold your breath with your mouth open, and take a new breath before each rep. It's hard to do this wrong.
