Pain in the buttocks make the squat difficult
I recently attended the Self-Sufficient Lifter camp in Wichita Falls and received excellent instruction from coaches Rip and Nick. However, I faced challenges due to pain in my right buttocks during squats (abduction). Even without weights, the discomfort has persisted. When I externally rotate my right femur to align my knees with my feet, the pain increases as I go deeper into the squat. I have a video demonstrating my struggle with achieving proper depth.
Despite these difficulties, I remain committed to mastering this essential exercise. Any advice going forward would be greatly appreciated!

Get your hip examined. Xray or MRI.
