    Default Bracing and lower back

    I have done two starting strength sessions so far. And especially during the deadlift I can't shake the feeling that my core isn't tight enough.

    I saw the piece where Rippetoe advised to push your belly out and chest up. Doesn't do much or?

    Also even if you do have it because deadlifting needs these mini resets in between reps I don't feel like I can do it right for several reps. It's like my body loses focus some reps are yay others nah.

    Also heard Rip about men and their lower back muscles and laxk of control thereof. And yes it seems I can't really do it that way I normally seem to bent over without any spiral erector help, like its a blank spot.

    So he said drop your .... To your knees. I do feel it that way.

    But then I'm still left with two problems. How am I going to maintain this during squats and deadlifts. How do I get and hold a good brace, and also create the right kind of lower back posture while doing it.
