Doing partial squats can definitely fuck up your knees. But most things heal. Need to see a current video.
I've been squatting for about two years now. The entire first year I was continually increasing weight on my squat, to the point where I was up to 265 lbs. The problem was that I cared more about the weight than I did about my form then, so I completely ignored the fact that my knees were just "caving in" on every single rep. Doing this shit for a year eventually took its toll on my knees, and it was difficult for me to even stand up.
So after that year passed I finally realized I needed to get everything together, and I started squatting "correctly." I've got absolutely no trouble keeping my knees out now, and despite this the pain persists. Maybe it's something else I'm fucking up, but as of now I don't have a video to post (probably would be the most helpful). Really I'm wondering if it's possible that my previous prolonged knee pain somehow messed my knees up to the point where there is still pain, even if I'm squatting correctly. I'll work on getting a video up, but I suppose I'm just hoping that that information might be enough to get some insight.

This is interesting. I'm in a very similar situation. Got knee and quad pain from partial squatting too heavy. Re-set the weight about 6 weeks ago and starting going all the way to the bottom. Quad pain has gone but knee pain persists.
